RabbitMQ management console
Follow queues, message flow, broker topology and administration in one place.
The complete message path
The RabbitMQ console connects queue information with exchanges, bindings, connections, channels and consumers. Message inspection and operations help narrow a problem to publishing, routing or consumption.
- Queue/exchange details, message inspection and authorized message operations.
- Broker/node status, diagnostics, alarms and time-based indicators.
- Stream and super-stream tools, plus message replay jobs.
- Protobuf schemas for interpreting supported message payloads.
Topology and administration
- Policies, virtual hosts, users, permissions and limits.
- Definition tools and inspection of managed objects.
- Federation and Shovel configuration tracking.
- Connection-specific settings and favorite queues.
Investigate a growing queue
Management views need a reachable RabbitMQ Management API. Stream, Federation and Shovel features depend on the broker version and relevant plugins. Consuming, moving, purging and replaying messages changes the actual message flow.
- Check broker alarms and connections in Overview.
- Open the target vhost and queue; compare ready/unacknowledged messages with consumer status.
- Choose an authorized message-inspection method and check its consumption behavior.
- Inspect exchange/binding topology for routing issues, or consumers and application logs for processing issues.
