SQL IDE and database tools

A query, data-editing and diagnostic workspace for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL.

From queries to schemas

The SQL IDE works with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL. The object explorer, query editor, result grids and session management share one workspace.

  • Schema/object search, source inspection, completion and data previews.
  • Persistent query sessions, cancellation, commit and rollback controls.
  • Query builder, EXPLAIN and execution-plan comparison tools.
  • Saved scripts, history and workspace tabs.

Data and schema operations

  • Editable result grids with a preview before changes are applied.
  • CSV import and result export.
  • DDL script generation, schema comparison and result comparison.
  • ER diagrams and supported routine calls.
  • Session, lock, performance, replication and server administration panels, subject to engine support and permissions.

Update data with review

Tools do not have identical coverage across all engines; catalog access, version and database-account permissions matter. Sensitive server administration requires additional authorization. DDL and autocommit behavior varies by engine; do not assume every statement can be rolled back.

  1. Verify the connection database, schema and read-only setting.
  2. Open the table or a limited query to identify affected rows.
  3. Prepare the edit and review the generated change preview.
  4. Execute with suitable write access; commit or roll back according to session transaction state, then query the result again.
