System and session settings
Manage authentication, AI, registry, updates and licensing from one administration area.
Administrator settings
Settings brings together Authentication, AI, Docker Registry, Updates and License tabs for system administrators. These choices affect user access and connections to external services.
- Save LDAP settings and test connectivity.
- Inspect and end active sessions, and adjust session policy.
- Manage the system AI provider and personal-configuration policy.
- Review external registry access information, license status and version settings.
Prepare LDAP access
- Fill in LDAP connection and search fields for your organization’s directory on the Authentication tab.
- Review the test result before putting the configuration into use.
- Verify sign-in behavior and Battani permissions with a representative user.
- Review active sessions and session policy for your organization’s workflow.
Installation context
Successful LDAP authentication does not by itself determine application roles and resource access. A directory account does not automatically become an administrator on every cluster or data service.
Configure the external URL, TLS and network routing together. External connections such as AI and update services should fit your air-gap or network policy.
